About

I am a fully registered nutritionist with a passion for good nutrition and good food. I completed a Bachelor of Science (Nutrition) and PhD at The University of Surrey. After graduating I worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at King’s College London where I ran clinical trials investigating the role of foods and nutrients in health and disease. I am currently working as a nutritionist for a catering company, where a large focus of my work is on nutrition education in school-aged children.

I decided to study nutrition because I had a love for both science and cooking at school. I am driven by the ability to help people be their healthiest, long-term. My focus is to provide you with good nutritional information which will empower you to understand your health and be resilient to misinformation. I look to support you and provide you with the necessary skills and knowledge to make realistic changes.

I encourage a healthy relationship with food. My focus is on food inclusion rather than exclusion wherever possible. I won’t tell you to cut out foods you enjoy, but rather help you find ways to include them as part of your lifestyle. Working together, I look to find ways for long-term success.

My recipes are tried and tested in my own domestic kitchen, by close family and friends who give honest reviews, and are easy to follow whilst providing a range of nutritional benefits. I hope you enjoy making some of my special creations – let me know how you get on by tagging us in your photos on Instagram or Twitter @drpippagibson
